SouthBay Capital Solutions was founded by Faiq Tahir alongside experienced investment professionals, including former CIOs from leading asset management firms. The firm was built around a simple idea: independent advisory firms should have access to sophisticated investment resources without having to build an entire investment department in-house.
Faiq began his career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch before moving into senior roles with Legg Mason, Franklin Templeton, American Century Investments, and Avantis Investors, working alongside financial advisors and investment teams across the country.
